Lucas & Jeune Aventurier

Meet Lucas M, currently living in Paris, and the founder behind Jeune Aventurier. Before starting it, he had a difficult period losing his home and finding stability. Here is his full story.

Lucas

Early Life

He was always a shy, been the awkward kid with long hair. From age 12 to 16, he was seen as the weirdo at school. In highschool he became known as the funny guy who always wanted to be int he front. He was good at school, but he stopped to focus on crypto, mostly shitcoins. At one point he got into gambling and built it up to 200,000, then lost all of it. That loss marked a turning point, and things went downhill from there for a while.

He was interested in fashion from early on and worked as an influencer before starting his brand. Then his parents kicked him out of the house. He had no fixed place to stay for six months, moving between different places to sleep in France. He eventually found a job and an apartment, getting them by lying about parts of his situation, which gave him a stability to work from.

In 2021 he moved to Paris. He describes becoming an unstoppable robot from that point on. He worked more than 80 hours a week between his job and building his brand, while also keeping up a social life and going to the gym. He drank three cans of white Monster energy a day just to stay awake, and slept around five hours a night. In the first year in Paris, he slept on the ground with no bed.

Building the Brand

Once his situation improved, he started building his brand step by step. He began by stenciling designs onto secondhand jeans. He describes this early work as average, not something he is especially proud of. After that he moved on to making ripped, distressed jeans, also using secondhand denim. From there he kept working on it, slowly moving from painted and distressed second hand denim toward better materials and more defined pieces, growing the brand on his own the whole way through.

Eventually he decided to take the brand seriously and left his job to focus on it full time. That decision marked the real start for him

The Brand

The brand is called Jeune Aventurier. It is based in Paris. He describes himself as a fashion blacksmith rather than a designer. The brand now sells jeans made from Japanese selvedge denim, Jeans, along with hoodies made from heavyweight French terry cotton. The brand's Instagram account has around 14,000 followers. The website is currently password protected, with a note that says it is opening in spring 2026.

What He Is Doing Currently

He now works on Jeune Aventurier full time, having left his previous job behind to build the brand on his own. His focus is on growing the brand from his Paris workspace, developing new pieces, and building the brand.

He went from being homeless for six months to building a fashion brand step by step, starting with stenciled secondhand jeans and growing into a self-run label based in Paris.
